You CAN, Because You ARE Good Enough
You CAN, because you ARE good enough. Say that to yourself everyday. Even if you may not believe it within yourself, know you CAN, because you ARE good enough. Develop a mantra (a chant) so you will develop a more positive attitude within yourself. Deep inside you may be feeling the worst, like all hope is lost, all you want to do is cry, all you want to do is be closed off and not talk with anyone. If you choose to be a loner and not be sociable because that bully has made you feel so bad about yourself, you need to develop a better attitude about yourself, and that starts with feeling good about yourself.
How can you do that when you feel so bad? Know inside of you are still human with a heart beating. Know you have a life in which you need to live, so don’t kill yourself if it has gotten to that point. You have to focus on improving yourself, and the first thing you need to do is believe that you are good enough and value yourself and your life.
Ask yourself these questions… Is it worth killing yourself because you are being bullied? Is it worth killing yourself because you don’t believe in yourself? Is it worth killing yourself because your mind has been overpowered by someone who does not know you and is jealous of you? Is it worth killing yourself because all you feel is depression? Is it worth killing yourself because you think that’s the answer? It is NOT!
Learn to not listen to the bully. Learn to listen to yourself. Learn to listen and feel your own heartbeat, your own pulse. Take your hand and place it over your heartbeat or your pulse, and tell yourself, “My heart is worth my life. My life is worth my heart.” Would you take away your heart because a bully is bullying you? Would you take away your heart because you refuse to talk about what is going on with your parents, your friends, your family? Would you take away your heart because you feel no one understands you? Would you take away your heart because you pity yourself and blame yourself for the bullying? Would you take away your heart because you feel your mind and body would just be better off?
Close your eyes and feel your heart beat in the palm of your hands. Your heartbeat beats for a reason. Your blood flows through you for a reason. Your pulse pulses for a reason. You are the reason. Don’t be a victim of depression, of loneliness, of guilt. Be a loner if you must, but keep your life living, because you deserve the best in life. To be able to get through the bullying, to be able to feel better about yourself, to be able to get through the toughest days (and I know from experience those tough days), know you deserve the best in life, and that starts with believing it, feeling it, and understanding you ARE the best in life. Say to yourself, “I CAN, because I AM good enough.” Know your emotions will get the better of you, but when you believe, feel, and understand the power within you, you CAN, because you ARE good enough.
