Bullying tears you down emotionally, physically, and mentally. It causes you to feel lost, alone, and depressed. It is up to you to continually feel like this or to build yourself up to strengthen and improve your mindset and weaknesses. Below are steps to help you strengthen and improve yourself and your character. Believe in yourself because what you think, you become. Do not believe you have the mentality of a victim; believe you have the mentality you are a survivor, and you will be.
10 Steps to Building Character:
1). Respect yourself; respect others.
2). Trust yourself; trust others.
3). Research yourself; in other words, learn from your past mistakes and learn from them. (Ask yourself why you are the way you are and improve yourself).
4). Train yourself to be a fighter – for you, for strength and endurance, and for positivity.
5). Develop yourself – learn new things. The more you learn, the stronger you get – inside and out.
6). Be adventurous. Do something you have never done before but always wanted to, for example, skydiving, camping.
7). Meditate; be one with yourself. Learn to find peace within yourself.
8). Discipline yourself. Make a daily routine of positive re-enforcements, for example, habits, thoughts, personal development, environment (your surroundings), positive people. The more you discipline yourself of a new habit, the more successful you will become.
9). Repeat yourself; in other words, DON’T GIVE UP! DON’T QUIT!
10). Love yourself. This is not egotistical. Take care of yourself – be happy, healthy, and wise. No one else will do it for you.
